Data Steward - Analyst

You are responsible in bridging the gap between business and IT. We are interested in professionals having this unique experience with functional analysis in complex business and data environments. The ability to understand the client needs, participate in requirements gathering and functional analysis is fundamental to deliver effective data solutions.

You will be:

• participating in and reviewing data diagnosis and assessment activities
• driving and participating in functional and system requirements analysis
• translating the business needs into technical requirements
• Implementing data modeling design / review

Your qualifications are:

Practical functional knowledge of the following capabilities is required:

• 5+ years of working experience in data and functional analysis
• 5+ years of functional experience with data management platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, TIBCO, SAS, IBM... is a plus
• an analytical and creative mind
• solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• proven ability to deliver in time
• preferably trilingual: English (requirement) and/or Dutch, French
• good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
• strong interpersonal skills, such as being able to work in a team as well as autonomously
• flexibility and ableness to work under pressure
• hands-on mentality, despite functional focus of the job
• willingness to travel in Belgium and potentially abroad

Your academic requirements are:

Bachelor or Master’s degree
