Senior Engineer, AEM Back-end (India)
We are looking for a skilled AEM Senior Developer to develop, enhance, and support Adobe Experience Manager applications and cloud deployments. The candidate will work closely with architects, leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing AEM solutions using modern development practices and AI-assisted coding tools.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AEMaaCS, AEM Agents, cloud deployments, and enterprise integrations along with strong debugging and Java development skills.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop AEM components, templates, workflows, dialogs, and backend services
Implement reusable and scalable AEM solutions aligned with enterprise standards
Work on AEMaaCS deployments using Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines
Use Cursor IDE and GenAI coding assistants to improve developer productivity and accelerate delivery
Configure and troubleshoot AEM Agents, dispatcher caching, and replication issues
Integrate AEM with REST APIs, third-party systems, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization activities
Collaborate with front-end developers on SPA and headless CMS implementations
Write unit tests and maintain secure coding practices
Support production deployments and resolve critical issues
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
5–8 years of software development experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience in AEM 6.x and AEMaaCS
Knowledge of Edge Delivery Services and headless CMS architecture
Strong Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and servlet development experience
Experience with AEM Cloud deployments and Cloud Manager
Knowledge of AEM Agents, dispatcher configuration, replication, and caching
Experience using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or GenAI-based coding assistants
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrations
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development
NICE TO HAVE
Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target integration
React or Angular development experience
Experience with headless CMS and GraphQL APIs
Exposure to AI-assisted automation and development workflows
