About ATOP NIGERIA
ATOP NIGERIA is a growing company specialising in building waterproofing, damp treatment, construction materials, and building renovation solutions.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Lagos.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project estimation, budgeting, material quantification, cost control, and financial monitoring across our construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), project cost estimates, and quotations.
- Conduct site measurements and calculate material quantities for construction and renovation projects.
- Prepare project budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Develop material schedules and support procurement planning.
- Analyse labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Review supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor project expenditure, material usage, and cost variations.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and verify measurements.
- Prepare project valuations, cost reports, and financial documentation.
- Collaborate with project supervisors, technical teams, and management to ensure efficient project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of project estimates, measurements, and expenses.
Qualifications and Requirements
- HND or BSc in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with strong practical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of construction measurements, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying tools.
- Basic knowledge of building materials, construction processes, and renovation works.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to conduct site inspections and travel to project locations when required.
Location Requirements
Applicants must be based in Lagos, preferably within the Lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo, Awoyaya, or Ibeju-Lekki axis, or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
