Data Analyst Power App

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced data analytics specialist with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SQL to join our Dubai team. In this role, you will design and deploy data-driven solutions, automate business processes, and deliver actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI

Build and customize business applications with Power Apps to meet user requirements

Implement automated workflows with Power Automate to streamline and optimize processes

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database structures

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance best practices are followed

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

5-10 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or a related discipline

5-10 years of hands-on experience with SQL for query development and performance tuning

5-10 years of experience creating reports and dashboards in Power BI

5-10 years of experience developing custom solutions in Power Apps

5-10 years of experience implementing workflows using Power Automate

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, cross-functional team

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working in the UAE or Middle East region

Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400)

Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or other cloud-based data services

Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and JSON formatting

Experience on large-scale digital transformation or enterprise data migration projects
