At ZwickRoell in Fürstenfeld, high-temperature testing machines, creep testing machines, and optical extensometers are developed and produced. For our production team, we are looking for immediate support at the Fürstenfeld location for 1 Purchasing and Logistics (m/f/d) Full-time 38.5h

Your tasks:

Production Planning

• Economic scheduling of customer orders including schedule control

• Transfer of customer orders into production and assembly orders

• Ongoing inventory control, forecast processing, and availability monitoring for material and capacity

• Organization and monitoring of incoming and outgoing goods

• Coordination of transports and delivery dates

• Cooperation with Sales, Development, and Production

• Support in the continuous improvement of logistical processes

Technical Purchasing

• Purchasing of drawing, standard, and component parts as well as raw materials

• Supplier selection, qualification, and evaluation

• Requesting and comparing quotations

• Conducting price and contract negotiations with suppliers

• Schedule tracking and ensuring material availability

• Maintenance of supplier and article data in the ERP-System

• Processing of complaints in cooperation with suppliers

• Support in the optimization of purchasing processes

Phase 1: Independent completion of assigned tasks according to the quality management system

Phase 2: Independent and responsible execution of tasks based on existing customer and development orders

Your profile:

• Completed commercial or logistical training (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau, Groß- und Außenhandelskaufmann/-frau, Speditionskaufmann/-frau or comparable)

• Professional experience in purchasing, logistics, or a comparable position is an advantage

• Confident handling of MS Office and ERP-Systemen

• Negotiation skills including commercial and technical understanding

• Structured and independent way of working

• Teamwork skills, reliability, and sense of responsibility

• Good English skills in speaking and writing

• According to the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry, the following minimum monthly salaries apply:

Phase 1: if applicable during the industry-specific induction period, minimum salary € 2,727.40 in usage group III in the 1st year of the usage group

Phase 2: after the induction period or with existing qualifications, minimum salary € 3,415.01 in usage group IV in the 1st year of the usage group

Additionally, there is a clear willingness to overpay or directly classify into usage group IV with appropriate qualifications and professional experience.
