Solution Engineer Infrastructure & Cloud (m/f/d)

Your tasks: SO diverse.
- Operational readiness & administration: In your role, you ensure the stable operational readiness of all responsible systems and administer server operating systems such as Red Hat and Ubuntu.
- Kubernetes & Container platforms: You reliably maintain and further develop the existing Kubernetes environment (SUSE Rancher) and optimize container solutions.
- Storage & Backup: You administer the deployed storage systems (NetApp) and implement suitable backup solutions to ensure data integrity.
- Software evaluation & consulting: You actively advise on the selection, testing, and evaluation of new standard software products, especially for Cloud and Container platforms.
- Maintenance & updates: You ensure the execution of regular maintenance and update tasks to guarantee system security and availability.
- Compliance & quality assurance: You monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and implement measures to ensure compliance and sustainable system quality.
Your skills: SO convincing.
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable course of study and several (3+) years of professional experience in network administration, or completed IT training, such as as an IT specialist for business processes (Informatikkaufmann:kauffrau) or IT specialist (Fachinformatiker:in) with several years (5+) of administration background
- Experience in the technical planning, coordination, and implementation of IT infrastructure projects
- Basic knowledge in scripting (Ansible and Shell)
- Confident application of moderation and presentation techniques as well as classic and agile project management methods
- An entrepreneurial and proactive, resilient personality with an agile mindset, basic digital understanding, and strong conflict resolution skills; strong communication skills in speech and writing, including English
