Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to govern inventory accuracy, inventory dataintegrity and associated financial outcomes across Distribution warehouseOperations. The primary purpose of thisrole is to design, implement, and oversee the governance framework forinventory management, ensuring that the digital record of stocks in our systemsreflects the actual & physical inventory.
This position is responsible for maximizing inventory availability tocustomers, minimizing shrinkage and losses, managing the financialreconciliation of stocks, overseeing compliance with internal and externalaudit standards, and optimizing WMS logic to support accurate inventoryflow.
Importantly, indirect management of market and cluster Heads ofinventory is to ensure appropriate skills and capability through training anddevelopment to ensure adherence to standards and execute high levels ofinventory management and inventory data integrity operationally.
What You’ll Do :
- Inventory Record Accuracy

- Disciplinedexecution of stock counts (cycle count and wall-to-wall counts) in accordancewith agreed policies and procedures
- Stock Reconciliation and Compliance
- Analyzingsources of inventory discrepancy and implementing corrective & preventativeactions across process, system and security to prevent recurrence
- Compliancewith financial and operational rules for stock adjustments
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Minimizingloss from expiration

Whatwill make you successful:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance,Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
- 7-10 years in Inventory Control,Internal Audit, or Finance within a high-volume distribution environment.
- Minimum 3 years in the Pharmaceutical orMedical Device sector (understanding of lot traceability, expiry management,and recall procedures is non-negotiable).
- Global / Regional / Multi countrymanagement experience, including international work placements highlypreferable
- Deep level experience with WMS systemsand platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience reconciling WMS data with ERPfinancial ledgers (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Advantageto Have:
- Project Management (PMP Certified) anadvantage
- Lean / 6Sigma certified
- APICS CPIM (Certified in Production andInventory Management) or CSCP is strongly preferred
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus forprocess optimization
- A master’s degree or CPA/CMA is highlyadvantageous given the financial reconciliation focus
- Financial Acumen - Deep understanding ofhow inventory transactions impact the P&L and Balance Sheet (COGS,Provisions, Variance accounts). Capable of performing detailed reconciliations.
- Data Analytics - Advanced proficiency inanalytical tools to mine WMS data for variance root causes.
- Regulatory Compliance - Pharma GxPregulations regarding documentation. Process Discipline - Commitment to standards; the ability to say "no"to adjustments that lack proper documentation.
