IT System Administrator/ LAN Manager (m/f/d) (Fachinformatiker/in - Systemintegration)

As an IT System Administrator/ LAN Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and will be the

first point of contact for our employees regarding technical questions. You will guarantee the stability

of our IT network and system landscape, take care of its continuous updating and

further development, and contribute to making our IT environment secure and future-proof. You can expect a

varied field of activity in an international environment, in which you can actively participate in the further development

of our IT landscape and contribute your own ideas.

The place of work is our location in Werneuchen near Berlin. As part of your activities, you will also regularly

undertake assignments at our location in Zörbig to ensure the reliable operation of the IT infrastructure at both locations. | Start: at the earliest possible date | Working hours: Monday to Friday during daytime operations. In

exceptional cases, assignments outside of regular working hours may be required in the context of IT projects, maintenance work, or troubleshooting.

Your tasks

 Administration, maintenance, and further development of the IT infrastructure (Server, Clients, Network, and

peripherals)

 Ensuring stable and secure operation of the network and system landscape

 Installation, configuration, as well as implementation of updates and upgrades of hardware and software

 Support and assistance for employees in First- and Second-Level-Support

 Administration of Microsoft Windows Server and Client systems

 Management of the virtualization environment (VMware) as well as the backup solution (Veeam)

 Implementation and further development of IT security and cybersecurity measures

 Cooperation and coordination with external IT service providers

 Participation in national and international IT projects

 Participation in IT budget planning as well as procurement of hardware and software

 Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

What you bring with you

 Successfully completed training as Fachinformatiker (Systemintegration), IT-Systemelektroniker, or

a completed degree in the field of Informatik or a comparable qualification

 Several years of professional experience as an IT System Administrator or in a comparable position

 Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems

 Experience with VMware and Veeam Backup & Replication

 Sound knowledge of network technology (LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)

 Good knowledge in the field of IT security and cybersecurity

 Sound experience with Active Directory and PowerShell is mandatory

 Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

 Strong service and customer orientation

 Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills

 Good English skills, both written and spoken
