Junior Product Developer Food (m/f/d) (Engineer - Biotechnology)

The recipe for your success consists of these tasks:

• Supporting project management throughout the entire development process, from the product idea through small-scale trials to the industrialization of the final product
• Participation in product development projects in the areas of Yellow, White, Fruit, Dessert, Baking, Packaging, and Administration as part of a rotation program (2 to 4 months per area)
• Close cooperation with the departments of Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, and other interfaces within the framework of interdisciplinary projects
• Maintenance and management of development-relevant data in the SAP system (SAP RD)
• Project-related cooperation with external suppliers, service providers, and research institutions
• Observation and analysis of market, consumer, and technology trends
• Support in the planning, execution, and documentation of development trials

More than just ingredients are your skills:

• Successfully completed advanced training as a Master or Technician in the food sector or a completed degree in Food Technology or a comparable field
• Initial practical experience in the food or packaging industry is an advantage
• Strong sensory understanding as well as enjoyment in developing innovative products
• High flexibility, initiative, and quick comprehension
• Independent, structured, and cost-conscious way of working
• Interest in technical, technological, and regulatory developments
• Confident handling of MS Office and ideally SAP
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Teamwork skills, strong communication, and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
