Google Workspace Administrator (M/F)
About the position
You will join an IT department of more than 50 talents, structured around different hubs (Infrastructure, Cloud, Support, Dev, Business & Industry, etc.). The structure has international activities and is present on 4 continents.
Working in a pair with a senior administrator, you will benefit from great autonomy to lead global transformation projects for the Google Workspace environment and you will collaborate daily with various stakeholders.
You will evolve in a stimulating multicultural environment. Your future manager is a friendly, technical person based in Germany. Terms: Contract Type: Project CDI (potential hiring by the client) or freelance contract Location: Montbéliard area, hybrid remote work (50% remote / week or even more)
Salary: between €39,000.00 and €50,000.00 per year Your missions: User and license lifecycle management: Ensure the secure creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts, license assignment, as well as rigorous management of off-boarding and file ownership transfers.
Security, compliance, and data governance: Deploy and supervise key security policies of the Google Workspace environment, such as 2-step verification (2SV/MFA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), the use of Google Vault for archiving and legal needs, as well as Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Configuration and administration of core services: Configure and optimize Google Workspace suite applications (Gmail, Google Drive, Shared Drives, Calendar, Google Groups, Meet) for different organizational units.
Automation and scripting: Use Google APIs, automation scripts (such as Google Apps Script, GAM, or PowerShell) and potentially third-party administration solutions to automate repetitive tasks (automated onboarding, bulk modifications).
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and migration support: Actively participate in the integration of acquired subsidiaries (user migration management, identity integration, domain consolidation), in line with the group's history of external acquisitions.
Supervision, audit, and third-party control: Monitor security reports, login activity, and regularly audit third-party applications (Shadow IT) accessing company data to limit leakage risks.
Technical support and change management: Resolve complex incidents, provide level 2/3 technical support, and assist local teams in adopting collaborative best practices.
About you
Experience: given the autonomy offered in the position, we are looking for a person with at least 3 years of proven experience with Google Workspace, ideally in a multi-site and international industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
Advanced mastery of the Google Admin console and associated tools (Google Vault, DLP, sharing rules ... ).
Solid scripting skills (Google Apps Script, GAM, PowerShell, bash, or equivalent) for task automation.
Experience with ChromeOS & Crostini (linux)
Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions (IAM, SSO, SAML, Okta) and device management (MDM).
Languages: Given the company's global presence on four continents, professional proficiency in English is important for interacting with international teams.
Personal qualities: Rigor in applying security instructions, autonomy, interpersonal skills to work in a decentralized organization.
