Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive risk-based annual audit plan, identifying high-risk areas across finance, operations, procurement, inventory, and logistics functions. Execute approved audit plans within defined timelines, ensuring adequate coverage and alignment with organizational priorities (Audit Plan Execution). Conduct detailed financial, operational, and compliance audits, including transaction testing, document reviews, and process walkthroughs. Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and policy gaps (Control Weakness Identification). Document audit findings with clear root cause analysis, risk implications, and practical recommendations. Prepare structured audit reports highlighting key findings, risk ratings, and recommended corrective actions. Present audit findings to relevant stakeholders and Management, ensuring clarity and alignment on remediation actions. Establish and maintain a tracking system for all audit findings and recommendations. Follow up regularly with process owners to ensure timely implementation and closure of agreed action plans (Audit Recommendation Closure). Conduct periodic fraud risk assessments across key business processes, including procurement, inventory, and financial transactions. Investigate suspected fraud, irregularities, or control breaches, ensuring proper documentation and escalation where necessary (Fraud Risk Detection). Review compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., financial regulations, tax laws, procurement guidelines). Perform compliance audits and highlight areas of non-compliance, recommending corrective and preventive measures (Compliance Review). Provide process improvement advisory by identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and control gaps within business processes. Recommend and support the implementation of improved controls, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency (Process Improvement Ad-visory). Conduct periodic inventory and warehouse audits, including physical stock counts, reconciliation with system records, and valuation checks. Review procurement and supplier management processes to ensure transparency, competitiveness, and compliance with company policies. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of audit documentation, working papers, and supporting evidence. Maintain high standards of risk reporting accuracy, ensuring all audit reports are fact-based, well-supported, and free from errors (Risk Reporting Accuracy). Monitor key risk indicators and emerging risks within the organization, proactively highlighting potential issues to Management. Support the development and continuous improvement of internal control frameworks and risk management processes. Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders during audits and reviews, providing required documentation and clarifications. Maintain confidentiality, objectivity, and independence in all audit activities in line with professional standards.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience A minimum of a degree in a related field  Strong knowledge of auditing standards and internal control frameworks Risk identification and assessment capability Fraud detection and investigative skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent report writing and documentation skills Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements High level of integrity and professional ethics Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit tools  Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity Process improvement and advisory mindset
