Job duties:

As an economist, you will be part of Zinkgruvan's finance department. The finance department currently consists of 9 employees. Your duties will consist of administration, producing analyses and reports, compiling budgets and forecasts, participating in month-end closing work, reporting as well as work with the annual report, being a support for the business, and handling other tasks commonly occurring in a finance department. At Zinkgruvan Mining AB, we are now seeking an economist for our finance department.

Zinkgruvan Mining AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lundin Mining AB, which is an expanding international group with mines on four continents. The group's shares are listed on the stock exchanges in Toronto and Stockholm. Zinkgruvan Mining is Sweden's southernmost underground mine and is located in the community of Zinkgruvan, which is 20 km from Askersund and 60 km south of Örebro.

We are a modern mining company that produces world-class concentrates of zinc, lead, and copper. Ore production is approximately 1.35 million tons per year and turnover amounts to approx. 2000 MSEK. Our primary product is zinc, which contributes to a more sustainable society by being part of the galvanizing process. The number of employees is approx. 400. We have mined ore since 1857 and accumulated more than 160 years of experience.
