About the company
At ZielJob, we are looking for three Design Engineers for an important company based in Ezeiza, Buenos Aires. The positions will be part of the Design area and will be in charge of the development, documentation, and technical monitoring of engineering projects. We are looking for advanced students or recent graduates with good proficiency in design tools and a desire to develop themselves in engineering projects.
Your tasks
The position will be in charge of the simulation and structural analysis of components, providing design improvements based on the results obtained. We are looking for profiles with solid technical training, rigor in analysis, and experience in finite element simulation.
- Prepare models for simulation.
- Define contacts, supports, and boundary conditions between parts.
- Perform linear static analysis to verify deformations and stresses.
- Evaluate structural stiffness and deformations under different loading conditions.
- Simulate service loads: self-weight, handling, and assembly compression.
- Execute basic thermo-mechanical couplings.
- Document results and generate reports with conclusions and recommendations.
- Propose design improvements based on simulation results.
- Work in a coordinated manner with designers and the product area.
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, diagrams, and models in design software.
- Define technical specifications and appropriate materials for each project.
- Ensure that designs comply with current regulations and standards.
- Perform structural, mechanical, electrical, or other calculations, depending on the type of project.
- Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of projects.
- Apply safety and sustainability principles in designs.
- Supervise and adjust designs according to client requirements or regulations.
- Manage and analyze technical documentation and drawings.
- Accompany project execution to verify that they are built according to the design.
Requirements
- Graduate in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 4 years of experience in similar positions.
- Experience in structural analysis and finite element analysis (FEA).
- Proficiency in simulation software (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar) and CAD modeling.
- Experience in preparing technical reports.
- English (reading and understanding technical documentation).
- Experience in thermal analysis and thermo-mechanical coupling will be valued.
- Advanced student or graduate in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Knowledge of technical regulations and standards applicable to design.
- Intermediate English level.
- Previous experience in technical offices or engineering projects will be valued.
