Safety Officer (Semiconductor) [5 days, Central Region]

Safety Officer (Semiconductor) Salary: $2,500 - $4,000 (Based on Experience) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Monthly Rest Days: 8

Responsibilities: Manage WSH safety compliance across semiconductor and project sites

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards

Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP)

Manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements and ensure proper implementation

Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, training, and emergency drills

Monitor site activities and enforce workplace safety requirements

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and follow up on corrective actions

Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and incident documentation

Coordinate safety matters with clients, contractors, project teams, and relevant authorities

Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field

Must be a MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant safety experience in Construction, Engineering, Semiconductor, or Manufacturing

Familiar with MOM WSH regulations, RA, SWP, PTW, and incident investigation

Strong safety awareness, communication, and coordination skills

Able to work independently and manage safety requirements across multiple project sites

Confined Space, Work at Height, First Aid, or Fire Safety certifications are an advantage

Candidates able to start work immediately or on short notice will have an advantage
