Your tasks

Key Job Responsibilities

• Installation, Configuration & Integration: Mount, wire, or replace smart water meter sensor and associated telemetry or communication modules at residential and commercial properties.
• Troubleshooting & Testing: Perform first-level checks to identify meter defects, signal dropouts, communication errors, or installation irregularities.
• Data & Reporting: Record meter readings, document site conditions, and log maintenance or replacement activities using mobile devices or work order systems.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to utility standards, safety guidelines, and water network regulations.
• Assist Engineering Departments in all technical related matters.
• Assist with the meters and sensors inventory matters

Requirements

Typical Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: NTC, NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade.
• Experience: Hands-on background in field-based equipment maintenance, utility metering, or plumbing/mechanical servicing.
• Skills: Basic troubleshooting, use of portable diagnostic/testing tools, and comfort with digital handheld work-order apps.
