Legal Counsel (m/w/d) ADAS & New Technology (Jurist/in)

We are strengthening our legal department team at the Friedrichshafen or Koblenz location.

What you can expect as Legal Counsel (m/w/d) ADAS & New Technology:

• Comprehensive legal advice to management, specialist departments and international units with a focus on risk minimization and economic optimization
• Review, drafting and negotiation of national and international contracts (especially sales and purchasing) as well as support for key customers at the group level
• Independent preparation of legal opinions, decision-making bases and binding guidelines (governance)
• Management and defense of claims as well as development and implementation of suitable legal strategies in close coordination with internal interfaces
• Enforcement and defense of recourse claims against customers and suppliers including management of external partners
• Legal support for contract negotiations as well as assessment of disputes and prospects of success
• Support for corporate law topics, such as resolutions, amendments to articles of association and structural measures
• Monitoring of relevant legislation and case law as well as participation in group-wide standards and recommendations for action

Your profile as Legal Counsel (m/w/d) ADAS & New Technology:

• Fully qualified lawyer (m/w/d) with several years of professional experience in commercial law or in an internationally oriented law firm / legal department
• Sound expertise in contract drafting, review and negotiation (especially in international sales and purchasing law)
• Experience in the independent handling of complex legal issues as well as in the preparation of legal opinions and statements
• Proven competence in leading and conducting contract and settlement negotiations at national and international levels
• Practical experience in claim and recourse management as well as in the out-of-court and judicial enforcement or defense of claims
• Good knowledge of corporate law as well as in the legal support of structural measures and committee processes
• Strong business understanding, strategic thinking and solution-oriented way of working
• Business fluent English skills as well as a confident appearance, strong communication skills and assertiveness
