Code Reviewer - Java

Full Time Opportunity: We are hiring Code Reviewer - Java for a short-term freelance/contractor engagement for an AI Training, Code Review & Evaluation Project.

Eligible Locations: India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru

Role: Code Reviewer - Java

Experience: Minimum 3+ Years

Mode: Remote

Engagement: Contractor / Short-Term Contract

Duration: 2–3 Weeks (approximately 4 weeks assignment)

Start: Immediate

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years of overall experience
• Strong experience with at least one of the following languages: Java
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and basic software pipeline setup.
• Ability to understand and navigate complex codebases.
• Comfortable running, modifying, and testing real-world projects locally.
• Experience contributing to or evaluating open-source projects is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Previous participation in LLM research or evaluation projects.
• Experience building or testing developer tools or automation agents.

What does day-to-day look like:

• Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open-source libraries.
• Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment setup.
• Evaluating unit test coverage and quality.
• Modify and run codebases locally to assess LLM performance in bug-fixing scenarios.
• Collaborate with researchers to design and identify repositories and issues that are challenging for LLMs.

Compensation & Engagement Details

• Payment: $25 per approved task.
• Average Handling Time: 45–60 minutes per task.
• Contract Duration: 2–3 weeks.
• Employment Type: Contractor assignment (no medical or paid leave).
• Evaluation Process: Assessment-based review (approximately 75 minutes).
• Vetting Process: Interest Check Form (ICF) followed by Delivery Review.
