Your tasks

• Provide safe, person-centred care and support to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
• Support individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity and choice.
• Recognise and respond appropriately to challenging situations and behaviours that may present a risk.
• Build positive, professional relationships with service users and colleagues.
• Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider care team.

Requirements

Essential Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence and Access to a Car

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker within mental health and/or learning disability services.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car – essential.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
