FINANCIAL AND INVESTMENT ADVISER
Key Responsibilities
- M&A Execution & Due Diligence Support:
Coordinate end-to-end due diligence processes, tracking data rooms, checklist deliverables, and workstreams across internal teams and external advisors. Assist in identifying commercial, operational, and financial risks and opportunities throughout the transaction lifecycle. Consolidate findings from cross-functional workstreams into structured due diligence summaries.
- Data Analytics & Market Research:
Collect, cleanse, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data across prospective deals, market benchmarks, and competitor activities. Build and maintain analytical models, trackers, and databases to support strategic investment decision-making. Translate raw datasets into actionable commercial insights and executive dashboards.
- Executive Reporting & Analytical Papers:
Draft, format, and finalize high-quality investment memos, analytical papers, and presentation decks for the Vice President and senior leadership. Ensure full bilingual accuracy and professional tone across documentation in both English and Mandarin (Simplified/Traditional). Structure compelling narratives from complex data to support strategic recommendations and board-level discussions.
- Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination:
Manage timelines, action items, and project milestones across multiple high-priority investment initiatives. Serve as a key coordination point with internal business units and external partners across regional markets.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, investment analysis, M&A/transaction support, business analysis, management consulting, or financial advisory. Generalist backgrounds are welcome; specific industry experience is not required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative/commercial discipline.
- Language Proficiency:
Full professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written). Demonstrated ability to draft, proofread, and deliver analytical white papers, presentation decks, and executive briefings in both languages.
- Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, financial/operational modeling, formula functions) and PowerPoint (executive-ready layout and narrative design). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or virtual data rooms (VDRs) is an advantage.
- Competencies:
Strong critical thinking and intellectual curiosity to grasp new industries and commercial models quickly. High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to handle commercially sensitive information with absolute discretion.
