Are you passionate about product quality, and do you enjoy being at the heart of the workshop working closely with production teams?

Within our QHSE department, we are looking for a Workshop Quality Technician to guarantee the conformity of our products throughout the manufacturing process and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our industrial performance.

Reporting to the QHSE Manager and in functional link with the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in controlling quality on the ground.

Your missions:

You support the introduction of new products and components

• Participate in assembly tests and evaluate the conformity of new components or processes.
• Contribute to project reviews as a quality referent.

• Identify potential quality risks and propose appropriate preventive actions.
• Participate in the definition and implementation of component and process qualification plans.

You guarantee quality in production

• Perform mandatory quality controls in the workshop.
• Verify compliance with control plans and metrological requirements.

• Block and isolate non-conforming components or products.
• Participate in or perform sorting operations when necessary.

• Lead quality problem-solving groups.
• Identify the root causes of non-conformities and drive corrective actions with the relevant teams.

• Perform double quality controls on reconditioned or remanufactured products following a customer complaint.
• Conduct quality audits in production.

You contribute to continuous improvement

• Monitor and analyze production quality indicators (KPI).
• Feed the reporting used during daily production meetings.

• Participate in process improvement and defect reduction.
• Support teams in the application of quality standards.

You intervene on after-sales service returns

• Analyze products returned by customers.
• Identify the causes of failures.

• Report conclusions and recommendations to your management.

You develop the quality culture

• Validate the quality skills of new employees and multi-skilled personnel.
• Participate in on-the-job training.

• Sign off on quality authorizations.
• Contribute to internal quality and ISO audits.

Your profile:

Training and experience

• Bac +2 to Bac +3 training in Quality, QHSE, Physical Measurements, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Successful experience in an industrial production environment.

• Mastery of quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Technical skills

• Quality tools: 8D, 5 Why, SPC, QRQC, root cause analysis.
• Reading of industrial plans.

• Mastery of Excel and the Office Pack.
• Knowledge of an ERP.

• Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, NF).
• Operational English, minimum B1 level.
