Operator with team leader responsibility

Nordic Bio-Graphite produces fossil-free graphite from forestry by-products for industries driving the green transition forward. The company was founded in 2024 and is based on a decade of research at KTH. Now we are looking for an Operator with team leader responsibility for our production in Bromma, Stockholm.

About the role

In this role, you are responsible for the daily operation of our pilot production, together with two operators. You plan the day's work, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and work yourself as an operator in the production, together with the rest of the team.

Tasks

Plan and coordinate the daily work for the team Work as an operator in the production Ensure safety, quality, and traceability in all stages of production Prepare, operate, and maintain equipment according to routines Responsible for correct and accurate documentation of the production and the various "batches" Handle all material correctly, avoiding material contamination or mixing Safety is of the highest priority in the role; you are expected to follow established safety routines and actively contribute to a safe working environment for the entire team Support the installation of new equipment as needed Perform basic checks and simple maintenance of equipment and machines Introduce and support new operators in the work

Experience working as an operator in production, manufacturing, laboratory, or process environments Good understanding of and practical experience with safety routines Practical, preferably with the ability to troubleshoot and perform simple repairs Accustomed to following documented work instructions and routines Meritorious with previous experience leading or coordinating a small group, not a requirement Confident in handling chemicals and other materials Fluent English in speech and writing; Swedish or another language is meritorious
