ZARA BASIC WOMEN'S FABRIC TECHNICIAN

The team The BASIC Fabrics team develops collections in close collaboration with Design and Buying, participating from the very beginning in the construction of every proposal. Their day-to-day revolves around the search for new fabrics, qualities, colorways, prints, and trends, always ensuring the coherence of the collection and compliance with quality standards and timelines. They work in constant contact with suppliers and internal teams to transform ideas into products, always staying connected with the latest market news and trends.

How we imagine you You are passionate about the fashion world and enjoy exploring trends, proposing new ideas, and discovering fabrics and qualities that add value to the collection. You are a proactive person, with initiative and the ability to lead projects and make decisions. You feel comfortable negotiating, defending your proposals, and collaborating with different teams. You have at least 3 years of experience in fabrics or in Design or Buying areas, with a special interest in product and fabrics. You have a high level of English.

What you would do in this position You will be part of a key team in the development of the collection, where you will: Constantly search for new fabrics, qualities, and market opportunities. Work directly with the Trends, Buying, and Design teams, having access to information regarding sales, collection needs, and the latest trends. Collaborate closely with suppliers, negotiating prices, developments, and delivery deadlines. Follow up on the product throughout the entire process, ensuring the final quality of the fabric, dyeing, finishes, labeling, and suitability to the design.
