OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST II
- Conduct accurate and a thorough evaluation and assessment to assigned patient according to standard.
- Develop and provide treatment plan address patients' needs and help them meet set goals.
- Provide Occupational Therapy intervention for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Educating patient's family about how to accommodate and care for the patient.
- Recommend special equipment, such as wheelchairs and aids for independent self-care.
- Fabricating of splints as prescribe by physiatrist and educating patients and their family on wearing and caring for the splint.
- Maintains accurate and timely record of all relevant patient information.
- Assist the chief Occupational Therapist in conceptualizing, developing and implementing policies, systems, and procedures pertaining to the knowledge and skills improvement of the section's personnel.
- Assist the chief Occupational Therapist in the training of new Occupational Therapist I staff with regards to the knowledge and skills required in the specialized clinics of the section.
- Maintains as officer-in-charge of this section in the absence of the Chief Occupational Therapist (Assistant Chief).
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Take action on other activities that may be assigned by the Chief Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy Experience : One (1) year relevant experience
