Description

The Associate – Core & Data Systems supports the development, maintenance, and monitoring of core financial systems and data platforms. The role involves assisting in database operations, system integrations, reporting, and daily operational support to ensure system stability, data accuracy, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing and supporting core systems, including database operations and application services.

Execute SQL queries and support data extraction, validation, and analysis tasks.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate incidents when required.

Support daily operational activities such as transaction monitoring and reporting.

Participate in system releases, testing, and deployment activities.

Support integrations with external systems and APIs (e.g., payment systems, reporting platforms).

Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Operations, Finance, Marketing) to support business requirements.

Document processes, procedures, and technical configurations.

Assist in maintaining dashboards and reports for business and operational insights.

Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and operational standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.

1-3 years of experience in business support systems, IT support, or related roles.

Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably Oracle).

Understanding of system operations, APIs, and data flows.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and basic command-line usage.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to financial systems, payment platforms, or telecom environments.

Basic understanding of reporting tools or dashboards.

Familiarity with monitoring tools or job schedulers (e.g., Jenkins).
