Patent Engineer (m/f/d) (Industrial Engineer)

Your tasks

• Support and advise specialist departments on patent law issues as well as conducting patent searches
• Management of the external office for the formulation of patent applications and the obtaining of patents
• Administration of the patent portfolio
• Clarification of intellectual property matters
• Mediation between management, specialist departments, and external patent attorneys on matters of invention and patent law
• Participation in the granting of licenses for own intellectual property rights or the acquisition of licenses for third-party intellectual property rights
• Patent monitoring
• External representation at trade associations in intellectual property matters

The suitable requirements are:

• Successfully completed university degree in a technical field
• Communication and teamwork skills
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a technical environment
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Commitment and flexibility
• Good English skills
• Future opportunities for further training in intellectual property law are possible
