Key Holder | Outdoor Retail | Lake District | £13.00 - £13.50 per hour

We are working with a well-established outdoor retailer to recruit a Key Holder for on of their stores in the Lake District.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced retail assistant, supervisor or existing Key Holder who enjoys customer service, has an interest in the outdoors and wants to take on more responsibility within a busy retail environment.

The Role

As a Key Holder, you will support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, helping to deliver excellent customer service and strong commercial performance.

You'll be hands-on across the store, supporting customers, helping the team and taking responsibility for the store when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening and closing the store
• Supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day operations
• Delivering excellent customer service and product knowledge
• Supporting and motivating the wider team
• Driving sales and supporting store targets
• Maintaining high standards across the shop floor
• Cash handling and banking responsibilities
• Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed

About You

We're looking for someone with previous retail experience , ideally as a Key Holder, Supervisor or experienced Sales Assistant.

You'll be confident working as part of a team but also comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions when required.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous retail experience
• Key Holder, Supervisor or senior sales experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A commercial and hands-on approach
• An interest in outdoor products, activities or the wider outdoor industry
• The flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours
