We are a diversified medical and healthcare group with businesses spanning medical device distribution, specialist medical services and clinics, and medical advertising and marketing services . We are seeking a meticulous, responsible and experienced Accountant to manage the accounting and finance functions across multiple group entities. The successful candidate will work closely with management and external professional advisers to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, timely statutory compliance and proper management of the Group's financial resources. This is a hands-on role suited to an accountant who is comfortable managing multiple entities and different business operations . Key Responsibilities
- Group & Full-Set Accounting
Manage the full set of accounts for multiple companies within the Group.
Maintain accurate General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and fixed asset records .
Prepare monthly management accounts, including: Profit & Loss Statement
Balance Sheet
Cash Flow Statement
Trial Balance
Supporting schedules and reconciliations
Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate and properly supported.
- Medical Device Distribution Accounting
Manage accounting for the Group's medical device distribution business .
Monitor purchases, sales, inventory movements and cost of goods sold.
Reconcile inventory records between the accounting system and inventory/warehouse records.
Monitor supplier invoices, customer invoices and outstanding balances.
Assist with inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
Track sales margins and product profitability.
Monitor customer collections and outstanding receivables.
Assist management with product and business-line profitability analysis.
- Specialist Medical Group / Clinic Accounting
Reconcile revenue from specialist consultations, procedures, treatments and other medical services.
Reconcile clinic billing systems against accounting records.
Monitor payments received through cash, credit cards, PayNow, bank transfers and other payment channels.
Track outstanding patient and corporate/insurance receivables.
Assist with reconciliation of insurance and TPA claims , where applicable.
Prepare revenue and collection reports for management.
Reconcile doctor-related professional fees and other clinic expenses.
- Medical Advertising & Marketing Business
Manage accounting for the Group's advertising and marketing activities.
Process customer invoices and monitor receivables.
Record advertising, marketing and campaign-related expenses.
Monitor project-based revenue and expenses.
Assist in preparing profitability reports for individual projects or campaigns.
Reconcile payments to advertising platforms, media suppliers and other service providers.
- Inter-Company Transactions
Record and reconcile inter-company transactions between Group entities.
Prepare inter-company balances and reconciliation schedules.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment for inter-company charges, loans, reimbursements and shared expenses.
Assist with Group-level reporting and consolidation where required.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Review and process supplier invoices and payment requests.
Prepare payment schedules and monitor cash requirements.
Issue customer invoices and credit notes.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
Maintain accurate AP and AR ageing reports.
- GST & Taxation
Assist with preparation and submission of GST returns , where applicable.
Prepare tax schedules and supporting documentation.
Liaise with external tax agents on corporate tax matters.
Assist with corporate income tax computations and annual tax filings.
Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are properly maintained for tax purposes.
Keep abreast of relevant Singapore accounting and tax requirements.
- Payroll & Statutory Matters
Assist with monthly payroll processing for Group companies.
Process and reconcile CPF contributions and other applicable statutory payments.
Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.
Assist with annual employee income reporting, including IR8A .
Liaise with payroll providers or external advisers where applicable.
- Audit & Compliance
Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
Respond to audit queries and follow up on outstanding matters.
Maintain proper accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Assist management in strengthening financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Budgeting & Management Reporting
Assist management with annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis.
Monitor actual performance against budget.
Analyse revenue, expenses, gross margins and profitability.
Prepare cash-flow forecasts and monitor Group cash positions.
Highlight significant variances and financial issues to management.
- Financial Controls & Process Improvement
Maintain effective controls over revenue, purchases, inventory, payments and expenses.
Review accounting processes and recommend improvements.
Assist in implementing or improving accounting and ERP systems.
Ensure proper documentation and approval procedures are followed.
Maintain confidentiality of financial, commercial and patient-related information.
Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline .
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience .
Experience handling full-set accounts is preferred.
Experience managing accounts for multiple companies or entities will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore taxation.
Familiarity with GST and corporate tax matters.
Experience with inventory accounting and distribution businesses is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and financial analysis .
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP, NetSuite or equivalent .
ACCA, CA Singapore, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous and detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to liaise with management, auditors, tax agents, suppliers and customers.
High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
