Description

Are you the one who effortlessly translates complex customer questions into smart technical solutions? In this role, you ensure that custom valves meet the highest requirements exactly. You combine engineering, coordination, and customer contact, monitor progress, and keep all involved departments connected to keep every project on track both technically and organizationally.

As a Project Engineer, you translate customer wishes into technical solutions and guide the entire order process. You assess requests, prepare technical orders, and ensure that projects are delivered smoothly, accurately, and according to specification.

What you will do

• Creating technically sound proposals and quotations, including price structures.
• Technical assessment of incoming orders and developing them into an internal technical order (ITO).
• Performing functional safety tasks: assembling safety loops, assessing requirements, and coordinating verification & validation.
• Coordinating and guiding complete customer orders until delivery.
• Identifying deviations and proactively informing customers.
• Defining and developing customer documentation and internal documentation assignments.
• Developing control systems and initiating orders via Purchasing.
• Performing inspections and acceptances at suppliers where necessary.
• Providing technical support to internal departments.
• Processing and archiving technical data in the correct systems.

What you bring

• A completed HBO degree in Werktuigbouwkunde.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and measurement & control technology.
• Experience or affinity with technically complex projects within the manufacturing industry.
• Good command of the English language (German or French is a plus).
• You work accurately, with quality awareness, and analytically.
