Main Responsibilities

Attends to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment of a minor nature based on skill level.

Responsible for guest and internal requests for repairs to rooms, public area, M&E equipment, etc

Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment based on skill and experience level.

Carry out preventative maintenance inspections request as assigned in the computerised maintenance system.

Ensure Fire and Engineering safety features operate in good operating condition.

Be thoroughly familiar with Hotel’s emergency procedures and perform assigned duties per Hotel and departmental procedures.

Ensure compliance with legislated workplace Health and Safety Act requirements

Ensure all requests for maintenance are carried out within an acceptable time frame.

Knowledge, experience, skills required

Minimum 1 Year hotel related experience

Able to do shift work, 5 days work week
