DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain and repair electrical wiring, switches, distribution panels, fixtures, appliances, plant and equipment.
2. Troubleshoot equipment faults, carry out repairs, take meter readings and perform routine inspections.
3. Assist with swimming pool cleaning, filtration pump maintenance, and chlorine/pH readings when required.
4. Set up AV equipment for seminars, weddings and other functions.
5. Perform standby duties during hotel events and functions.
6. Carry out general repairs including painting, wall patching, plumbing, air-conditioning and electrical.
7. Serve as part of the hotel’s emergency response team and as a first aider.
8. Respond promptly to maintenance issues and guest requests.
9. Work on rotating shifts.
10. Support other sections within the Maintenance Department when required.
11. Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
