Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for plumbing, sanitary and drainage systems using Autodesk Revit
- Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, sectional details and as-built drawings based on BIM models
- Coordinate with architectural, structural and other M&E disciplines to carry out clash detection and resolve clashes
- Attend BIM coordination meetings with main contractors, consultants and other trades
- Update models and drawings according to design changes, site conditions and consultants' comments
- Prepare models and drawings for prefabricated components such as Prefabricated Bathroom Units (PBU) and prefabricated pipe modules, where required
- Extract quantities from BIM models to support quantity take-off and material ordering
- Assist in preparing drawings for authority submissions (e.g. PUB) where required
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project BIM requirements, company standards and relevant codes of practice
- Manage drawing files, model files and revision records
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Min. 2–5 years of BIM modelling experience, preferably in plumbing & sanitary or M&E works
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of Navisworks will be an advantage
- Basic understanding of plumbing, sanitary and drainage systems and installation methods
- Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings
- BIM-related certification will be an advantage
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects
- Willing to visit project sites when required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
