Opportunity: Commercial Property Solicitor / Legal Executive Location: Royal Wootton Bassett | Hybrid and Flexible Working Salary: Up to £80,000 + bonus

I'm working with a well-established Wiltshire law firm with a lovely, down-to-earth culture and a growing Commercial Property team. They're looking for a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join them in Royal Wootton Bassett and there's plenty of scope to develop professionally as the team continues to grow.
And the work? It's a little different from what you might expect from a small regional firm.
The Work:
You'll handle a varied commercial property caseload, including sales and acquisitions, refinancing and leases, with the opportunity to get involved in some particularly interesting specialist work.
The team has expertise in advising landowners on promotion agreements, options, renewable energy projects and land diversification, alongside pension property matters.
The renewable energy side is a real point of difference. It's not something you see every day in a smaller, traditional practice and the team has an exciting foundation to build on. There's an established platform, a strong network and real potential to develop this offering further.
You'll manage your own matters with autonomy, taking a practical, commercially minded approach to client work, while working alongside colleagues on larger and more complex transactions. It's a role where you can use your existing experience but also broaden it, build relationships and get involved in the continued development of the department.

You'll work closely with an experienced Commercial Partner who has a background in larger commercial practices. They bring that wider commercial experience and network to the team, alongside a strong foundation of work and relationships.
The opportunity is to build on that foundation together. Whether you're looking to develop your technical expertise, take on more responsibility, strengthen client relationships or progress as the department grows, there's room to shape what your next few years could look like.
What We Are Looking For:
They're open-minded about PQE because the right person matters more than a number on a CV. They appreciate that experience doesn't always fit neatly into a PQE bracket so if you've built strong commercial property experience through a slightly different route, don't rule yourself out.
You'll ideally have experience across a broad range of commercial property matters, be comfortable managing your own caseload and enjoy providing clear, commercially focused advice. Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail are important, as is being someone who enjoys working collaboratively and getting stuck in.
They're open to both Solicitors and Legal Executives.
