*Financial Controller* *Yoke Group Inc. | Hamilton, ON | Full-time, in office*

Yoke Group Inc. is a vertically integrated real estate development and property management company based in Hamilton, Ontario.

We are hiring a Controller to lead the finance function, reporting directly to the CEO.

*Responsibilities*

• Manage sources and uses tracking across projects and the portfolio
• Own accounts payable, including a forward payment calendar
• Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast
• Complete monthly close across multiple corporate entities, including intercompany
• Prepare year-end working papers for the external accountant across all entities
• Prepare lender reporting packages and support financing files
• Manage and direct the bookkeeping staff
• Track project costs on active construction and tenant improvements

*Qualifications*

• 5+ years in a Controller or senior accounting role
• Multi-entity accounting experience is required
• Real estate, property management, or construction industry experience preferred
• Experience building and managing an AP calendar and cash flow forecast
• Experience preparing year-end files for an external accountant
• Experience managing at least one direct report
• Buildium or comparable property management software experience an asset
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred

Compensation: $95,000 to $115,000, based on experience.

Pay: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
