You’ll collaborate with an international team working on digital products for global clients. We value openness, collaboration, and ownership, and we aim to create an environment where designers can focus on solving real product problems and continuously develop their skills. We are a software house that originated in Berlin and operates globally, with a strong presence in Warsaw. We help companies design, build and develop digital products while solving complex technical challenges.

Our clients include companies such as Zalando, IWC, Bidfood and Orderbird.

Daily tasks

• Our clients increasingly come to us with one question: "How can AI help our business?" As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll answer it with working software, not slides. You'll improve both what we build for our clients and how we build it.
• In client projects across hospitality, retail, fintech and e-commerce, you'll bring real AI improvements into live products. You'll integrate LLM-based solutions with existing systems, and work through real-world constraints like data privacy, legacy systems and security reviews. You'll be part of our delivery process from day one: sprints, code reviews, automated tests, CI/CD and monitoring. You'll also run discovery workshops and build quick prototypes that show clients what's possible.
• Next to client work, you'll review how our teams develop software and introduce AI methods where they make a real difference. We want you to experiment, and you'll have a growth budget to do it. Test new models, tools and approaches, and bring back what works.
• Sharing knowledge is a core part of the role. Internally, you'll run workshops and demos so every YND engineer benefits. Externally, you'll be one of YND's public voices on AI: on our blog, at meetups and conferences, or on LinkedIn. You'll get dedicated time, a conference budget and our team's support for it.

Requirements

What we need from you 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong backend focus Hands-on experience delivering LLM-based solutions in production, integrated with existing systems Clean, testable code and solid experience with CI/CD, code reviews and monitoring Daily use of AI in your own development workflow – and a critical eye for where it helps and where it doesn't Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders An existing public presence around AI – a blog, talks, open-source work, a newsletter or an active LinkedIn/X profile Enjoyment of sharing knowledge – through workshops, pairing, demos or documentation Strong, well-argued opinions about AI – and the honesty to say "AI isn't the right fit here" when that's the case Very good command of English, both written and spoken Nice to have Experience in consulting or a software house environment Experience introducing new tools or practices in engineering teams Domain knowledge in payments or e-commerce Experience with AI evaluation, observability or security
