SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d) (IT Specialist - Application Development)

About the company

For our client, we are filling the following position in permanent employment immediately: SAP ABAP DEVELOPER (M/F/D)

Your tasks

• Analysis of existing processes as well as planning and implementation of changes in the logistics environment
• Acting as an interface between SAP standard and optimized processes, you will support our national and international sales and logistics locations, in close cooperation with SAP consultants and specialist departments
• Development of practical solutions for our specialist departments, particularly in the SAP logistics modules SD, MM and LE
• Connection of our trading partners and logistics service providers using standardized development solutions
• Taking over tasks in second-level support
• Conception and implementation of SAP ABAP/ABAP OO development orders with a focus on the logistics modules SAP SD, MM and LE
• Development and support of interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, ALE) as well as their monitoring and maintenance using modern programming methods
• Development of forms with ABAP and ABAP OO as well as implementation of dialog and interface programming

Requirements

• Successfully completed IT training, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in software development with ABAP / ABAP OO as well as sound knowledge of the SAP standard architecture
• Experience in B2B connection via IDoc, EDI and Webservices is desirable
• Strong communication skills and a high degree of service orientation
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Occasional willingness to travel as part of national and international SAP projects
• A plus, but not a must: knowledge of IT service management according to ITIL
