Responsibilities: Implement and promote Cloud FinOps best practices across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments;

Monitor and optimize Cloud resource usage, identifying waste, cost anomalies, and opportunities for improvement;

Develop automations for collecting, analyzing, and processing Cloud usage and cost data;

Support Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams in adopting efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective Cloud architectures;

Identify and execute optimization initiatives such as rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and the removal of unused resources;

Contribute to the evolution and implementation of the organization’s FinOps strategy;

Produce technical analyses, cost insights, and recommendations to support the continuous improvement of Cloud platforms;

Act as a technical reference for Cloud efficiency, governance, cost management, and optimization in multi-cloud environments;

Create, maintain, and review detailed technical documentation covering Cloud architecture, governance, optimization, and FinOps practices.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;

Up to 10 years of professional experience in a relevant Cloud engineering role;

Proven experience with at least one of the following Cloud providers: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP;

Strong experience optimizing solutions implemented in Public Cloud environments;

Proven knowledge and practical experience with Cloud cost management and optimization tools, ideally CloudHealth;

Strong understanding of Cloud cost management, resource utilization, governance, and optimization principles;

Experience identifying and implementing Cloud optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and resource cleanup;

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost inefficiencies and translate findings into actionable recommendations;

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders;

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Certifications: At least one of the following Cloud certifications is required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert;

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate;

Google Associate Cloud Engineer.

The following FinOps certification is also required: FinOps Certified Practitioner.

Nice to have: Knowledge of Agile methodologies;

Experience working with Jira and Confluence;

Portuguese language skills;

Spanish language skills;

Experience working in multi-cloud environments;

Experience with Cloud governance and cost optimization;

Experience supporting enterprise-scale Cloud transformation initiatives;

Strong understanding of Cloud architecture, infrastructure, and operational best practices;

Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost optimization;

Ability to work effectively with Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and business teams in multidisciplinary environments.
