Responsibilities:

• Implement FinOps strategies and policies aligned with Group standards, ensuring efficient control of cloud spending.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising service quality.
• Analyze and monitor costs and usage across multiple cloud platforms, promoting a clear and transparent view of cloud spending across product lines.
• Facilitate communication between finance, engineering, and operations departments, promoting a culture of financial accountability and providing advisory services on effective practices for cloud cost management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Conduct governance activities that ensure compliance and best practices in cloud financial management.
• Prepare regular reports and provide insights on trends, anomalies, and detailed cloud spending analyses, presenting them in an accessible way to all stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain tools and automation for tracking, reporting, and cost optimization, promoting efficiency in financial processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the areas of FinOps, cloud cost management, or financial analysis in cloud computing environments.
• Solid operational knowledge in cloud and/or financial management, including cloud-based architectures, cloud provider tools, and budgeting and forecasting systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their billing structures, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Experience in IT asset management or cost accounting.
• Recognized certifications in cloud, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or FinOps Foundation, demonstrating technical competence.
• Ability to conduct complex data analysis and translate results into actionable information that results in effective reports and presentations.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially Excel and Power BI, for data analysis and visualization.
• Practical knowledge of IBM Cloudability will be considered a valuable asset.
• Academic background in related areas such as Computer Science or Finance, preferably with a strong analytical background.
• Fluency in English (C1 level or higher) is mandatory, given the global nature of the projects.

Differentials:

• Previous experience working in agile software development environments and FinOps operations integration.
• Ability to lead workshops and training sessions on FinOps practices and financial management with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is valued, as it facilitates communication in international projects.
• Experience in cost analysis of different cloud services and industry best practices for cost management.
