Project Context We are looking for a Data Analyst - FinOps to join Group Operations and support two application product lines in their FinOps journey. The main mission of this service is to optimize financial management in the cloud and ensure cost efficiency through our cloud services. This service will be responsible for bridging the gap between finance, engineering, and operations by implementing best practices for cloud cost management, budgeting, and financial forecasting. The work will promote financial accountability and transparency in our cloud infrastructure. Modality: Hybrid - 2x per week in person Location: Lisboa Objectives and Deliverables Service Mission: Implement FinOps strategies, policies, and best practices, aligned with Group standards, to control cloud spending.

Act as an expert in financial product and process management, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Support the definition of budgets/forecasts and the definition of cost optimization goals.

Work together with product, engineering, and architecture teams to identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising the quality of the service provided.

Conduct governance activities related to cloud financial management.

Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud costs and usage across various platforms, promoting visibility and transparency of cloud expenses across product lines.

Provide regular reports and insights on cloud spending, identifying trends and anomalies for stakeholders.

Facilitate cross-functional communication to promote a culture of financial accountability within the organization.

Implement tools and automation for cost tracking, reporting, and optimization.

Expertise: Proven experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or financial analysis in cloud environments.

Solid knowledge of cloud operations and/or financial management, familiarity with cloud-based architectures, cloud vendor tools, and systems for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their billing structures.

Experience in IT asset management or cost accounting.

Cloud vendor certifications, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or FinOps Foundation, will be highly valued.

Ability to perform and present complex data analyses, translating results into actionable deliverables and presentations.

Solid experience in financial analysis and refined analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Power BI is essential, with advanced expertise in Excel.

Knowledge of tools such as IBM Cloudability for cost monitoring and analysis.

Education or experience in Computer Science and finance is a differentiator.

Fluency in English (C1 level) is mandatory.
