We are looking for an Intermediate Level Cloud Engineer to join an international technology company and support its Cloud Adoption team.

In this role, you will help lead migration and modernization projects in cloud environments, facilitating the transition of on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure and ensuring improvements in performance, availability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build secure, resilient cloud infrastructures in compliance with best practices and regulations, implementing robust security controls.
• Manage and support the migration of workloads from on-premises servers to Microsoft Azure, ensuring a smooth and effective transition.
• Optimize the performance and availability of cloud-based workloads using advanced monitoring tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, debug, and perform comprehensive testing in cloud environments.
• Refactor and rebuild existing applications to support cloud-native transformation, aligning with modern microservices architectures.
• Perform monitoring of cloud resource utilization and contribute to cost optimization strategies, ensuring efficient infrastructure use.
• Design and manage secure virtual network environments, integrating VPN and peering solutions.
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, implementing effective orchestration strategies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines, with a special emphasis on integration with Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with agile and cross-functional teams, promoting interdisciplinarity and the exchange of technical knowledge among team members.
• Document solutions comprehensively and proactively share technical knowledge with the team, promoting a continuous learning environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience in implementing secure virtual networks, with a deep understanding of network security practices.
• Mastery of containerization and orchestration platforms, especially Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python, for process and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on quality and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and its functionalities.
• Experience in agile environments, with knowledge of Scrum or Kanban practices.
• Proficiency in using the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence, for project management and collaboration.
• Robust problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with an analytical focus on identifying failures and optimizing processes.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Differentials:

• Experience with Ansible or other configuration automation tools.
• Experience in cloud migration projects and modernization of existing applications.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles, suitable for maximizing cloud return on investment.
• Experience in building robust monitoring and observability solutions, using tools such as Azure Monitor or Prometheus.
• Experience working in international and multicultural teams, valuing diverse perspectives.
