Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician specializing in small jobs and maintenance to join our team in Ottawa. This role involves performing a variety of service and repair tasks related to HVAC systems, plumbing, boilers, and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, construction, and appliance repair, with the ability to interpret schematics and work independently on small projects. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC systems, including small jobs and troubleshooting issues efficiently.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and installations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize welding skills for minor fabrication or repair tasks when required.
• Service boilers, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
• Assist with construction-related tasks related to HVAC projects or upgrades.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each service call.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC service, maintenance, or related mechanical fields.
• Knowledge of plumbing, boiler systems, welding techniques, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
• Construction experience or mechanic background is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues independently.
• Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

What we offer
