OPEN RECRUITMENT — SHADOW TEACHER

Yayasan Pendidikan Indieklusi Indonesia (YPII) is opening opportunities for Shadow Teachers to accompany students in regular schools with an International Baccalaureate (IB) learning environment.

Placement: Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara School Location: Jl. Pegangsaan Dua No.22, RT.5/RW.2, Pegangsaan, Kec. Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, DKI Jakarta 14250

Qualifications:

• Minimum S1 Psychology education (MANDATORY)
• Female (MANDATORY)
• Residing around Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, or areas with close and realistic access to the school location (MANDATORY)
• Able to speak English well
• Having experience as a Shadow Teacher, GPK, child companion, or in inclusive education is an added value
• Possessing observation, communication, documentation, and report writing skills
• Firm, active, cheerful, communicative, responsive, and able to build positive relationships with students
• Able to work professionally and follow YPII supervision and work standards

Responsibilities:

• Accompanying students during learning activities and school activities
• Conducting initial assessment and observation of student needs according to YPII directions and standards
• Identifying student strengths, needs, obstacles, and progress as a basis for formulating assistance programs
• Formulating IEP/PPI based on assessment and observation results according to YPII formats and standards
• Setting development targets and intervention strategies together with the YPII team and the school
• Implementing IEP/PPI programs in learning activities and school activities
• Performing periodic recording of progress, behavioral responses, and intervention results
• Preparing student progress reports and assistance program evaluations
• Conducting evaluations and providing follow-up recommendations based on student progress
• Coordinating with classroom teachers, subject teachers, counselors, parents, therapists, and the YPII team as needed
• Participating in the IEP/PPI review and supervision process by the YPII team
• Participating in coaching, training, supervision, and performance evaluations organized by YPII
• Helping students develop academic, social, emotional, communication, behavioral, concentration, and independence skills according to individual needs
• Applying assistance strategies such as prompting, fading, modeling, visual support, reinforcement, task analysis, and other behavioral strategies according to the established program

Special Position Requirements:

• Possessing skills in emotion regulation and behavioral support
• Able to handle aggressive behavior calmly, firmly, safely, and professionally
• Able to help students face conflict, teasing, or provocation adaptively
• Able to apply positive behavior support and de-escalation
• Able to support student focus, self-management, social interaction, and independence
• Able to formulate and implement IEP/PPI
• Possessing English language skills to support communication and learning in the school environment
