What will you be doing with us?

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for performing machining activities in our machining corner. On a daily basis, you will do the following;

• Performing both planned and unplanned machining activities, such as turning, milling, boring, and planing.
• You initiate and follow up on improvements in the areas of safety and efficiency in our workshop;
• If necessary, performing activities in the valve shop or in the plant for the overhaul and repair of valves and safety devices.

You will do all of this according to the applicable procedures and safety regulations within Yara Sluiskil and the so-called Yara values (Curiosity, Ambition, Collaboration & Responsibility).

Who are you?

You are a team player who is communicative and flexible. You can work independently and consult easily with colleagues within and outside your own discipline, so that problems are solved quickly.

• You have a completed MBO-4 (NL), or BSO/TSO (BE) diploma in Mechanical Engineering/(electro)Mechanics or a similar diploma;
• You have at least 5 years of experience with machining activities;
• You have knowledge of the English language and you are quick to get used to new IT systems (SAP, Microsoft Office).
