*Yanda Canada is hiring Pipefitters for current projects in Alberta. We are looking for experienced, safety-focused Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters to join our growing team. Multiple positions are available with immediate/ongoing opportunities.*

*Locations & Schedules:*

*Anzac, Alberta ? Site*

• $49.00(Employees)?$62.00/hour(DSP)

*Travel Allowance

• 24 days on / 4 days off

• 12-hour shifts

• Camp accommodation

• Overtime available for employees

*Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta ? Mod Yard*

• $47.00(Employees)?$60.00/hour(DSP)

• Monday to Saturday

• 10-hour shifts

• Long-term work opportunity

• Overtime available for employees

*Responsibilities:*

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or machines
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
• Weld, braze, solder, or cement joints to join pipes and pipe sections
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

*Qualifications:*

• Completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program or relevant work experience
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, saws, pipe cutters, and threaders
• Familiarity with different types of pipes (e.g., copper, steel) and their installation methods
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems

Note: Experience in welding is a plus but not required.
