Production Operator

For a growing production company in the Lokeren region, we are looking for an operator for a semi-automated sorting line.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the production process runs smoothly and correctly. You will work together with a colleague who is responsible for the supply of materials. Additionally, you will perform quality controls, intervene in the event of minor technical malfunctions, and contribute to a safe and tidy working environment.

• Setting up, starting up, and operating the sorting line according to the applicable safety guidelines
• Checking and correctly distinguishing between different pallets
• Detecting and resolving minor malfunctions
• Contacting the technical service in a timely manner for more complex defects
• Supporting maintenance activities in collaboration with technicians
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and safety on the shop floor
• Experience with production or packaging machines is an asset
• You communicate clearly and take initiative
• Practical-minded, eager to learn, and motivated
• Physical work is not a problem
• Technical insight (mechanical and/or electrical) to handle minor malfunctions independently
• Accurate and quality-conscious
• Safety is a priority for you
• You can work both independently and in a team
• Very good knowledge of the English language
