Tester at Verisure

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field or alternatively experience in software testing / development
• Good knowledge of English

Meritorious

• Knowledge of Java, Linux, scripting languages, and MySQL At Verisure, we are now looking for a tester who wants to work with manual software testing. You will be part of the customer's team ”Platform foundation”, a team consisting of senior developers, testers, and a Scrum Master. As a tester, you will perform exploratory testing according to the Session-Based Test Management method, and you will be involved throughout the entire testing process; from requirements analysis and design to execution and release. The role also involves improving and streamlining your various processes and methods. As a tester at Verisure, you will be offered a position where you are given great room to work creatively and independently.

Examples of tasks:

• Planning and execution of testing activities for e.g. APIs, software (primarily databases), and technical platforms
• REST calls to databases
• Test design
• Execution of Python scripts
• Test review
