An important company dedicated to the heavy machinery industry is looking for a Predictive Process Engineer to work in Quilicura, for a 3-month project.

Purpose of the role

Develop and manage the intelligence of monitoring systems through advanced data analysis and the definition of models, algorithms, rules, and alerts, with the objective of detecting deviations and anticipating failures, strengthening decision-making, and contributing to operational continuity and safety.

Main functions

• Lead the design, prioritization, automation, and continuous adjustment of predictive rules and models.
• Develop and maintain data-based predictive algorithms, models, and rules to detect failures at early stages.
• Build and manage dashboards and key indicators related to operational performance and monitoring systems.
• Participate in projects for the improvement and evolution of monitoring and analytics tools.
• Participate in root cause analysis of failures, using data and predictive models.
• Support the design of processes, improvements, and solutions oriented towards organizational efficiency.
• Prepare analyses, reports, templates, and presentations for internal and external use.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external teams to incorporate new capabilities and best practices.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Mechanical Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in roles of similar responsibility. (mandatory)
• Demonstrable knowledge in descriptive, predictive, and diagnostic analysis. (mandatory)
• Proficiency in advanced data analysis and visualization tools, such as Python, R, and Power BI, among others. (mandatory)
• Experience in monitoring mobile equipment and/or diesel engines.
• Advanced English, written and spoken.

Offered

• Net salary: $1.800.000.-
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00 and Friday 8:00 to 15:00 - 30 minutes for lunch.
• Benefit: food.
• Workplace: Quilicura, Región Metropolitana.
• Contract through an external company.
