Job Descriptions:
- Perform welding on stainless steel materials;
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints;
- Assemble, weld, and fabricate stainless steel structures or components;
- Inspect and ensure welded parts meet quality standards;
- Maintain and operate welding equipment safely;
- Experience in stainless steel welding is preferred;
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the supervisor;
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job;
- Maintain and repair all machinery;
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors;
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes;
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature;
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. · Avoid danger during work.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Co-ordinate with fitter and supervisor for job instruction. · Must have relevant working experience.
- Have at least high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Avoid danger during work.
