Technician

Responsibilities:

• To perform on-site preventive maintenance services based on agreed schedule.
• To provide adhoc remedial repair service as required by customers.
• Meeting desired Service Level that is expected of from the customers/site assigned.
• Perform pre-delivery inspection on equipment prior for delivery.
• Provide preventive maintenance service and remedial repair services.
• Maintain customers install base records.
• Handle customers enquiry, feedback or suggestions.
• Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in equipment servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting or remedial repair is preferred.
• Able to perform on-site maintenance according to agreed schedules and service-level requirements.
• Capable of inspecting, diagnosing and repairing equipment independently.
• Able to respond promptly to ad hoc service and repair requests.
• Good record-keeping skills to maintain customers’ equipment installation and service records.
• Good communication and customer service skills to handle enquiries, feedback and suggestions professionally.
• Responsible, service-oriented and able to work independently at assigned customer sites.
