Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Design and enhance testing frameworks, test plans, and regression test suites.
• Perform functional, exploratory, integration, cross-platform, and performance testing across web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Validate product features against business and technical requirements.
• Identify defects, edge cases, and quality risks, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Conduct system integration testing with external systems and prepare test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Agile delivery and CI/CD practices.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and quality engineering standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
• Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and test automation frameworks.
• Experience in performance, load, and security testing.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as React.js and Node.js, and mobile applications developed using React Native.
• Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant Software Quality Assurance certifications will be an advantage.
