Senior SAP ABAP Developer (HCM)

The Senior SAP ABAP Developer (HCM) is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing and maintaining SAP HCM applications and software solutions. The role involves technical development, system integration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, testing and production support to ensure reliable and scalable enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and software solutions.
• Design, develop, enhance and maintain SAP HCM applications, reports, interfaces, workflows and custom programs.
• Develop and support SAP Time Management functionalities, including PCRs, Schemas, Work Schedules, Holiday Calendars, Time Evaluation and Payroll integration.
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems through APIs, web services, RFCs and IDocs.
• Perform coding, debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning activities.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing and defect resolution to ensure software quality.
• Investigate system issues and implement software fixes and enhancements.
• Prepare technical specifications and maintain system documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews and mentoring to junior developers.
• Support application deployment, production support and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in SAP application development or enterprise software development.
• Strong experience in SAP HCM Time Management.
• Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and technical customization.
• Experience in APIs, web services, interfaces, RFCs and IDocs.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
